Spring 2024 Political Video Editing Internship

Blueprint Interactive is a full-service digital agency that provides top-shelf digital strategy, advertising, fundraising, social media and web development for a variety of political campaigns, non-profits, and other organizations. We're an energetic and dedicated team who have been churning out top-notch projects fighting for political candidates and progressive causes like reproductive rights, racial justice, the environment, and much, much more. We’re looking for self-motivated college students or recent graduates to participate in our part-time, paid internship program. We are looking for a candidate who will work on average 20-25 hours a week starting January 16, 2024 and running for 12-14 weeks. This internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience to contribute to your personal and professional growth. Here at Blueprint, interns are treated like a member of their team, and given the opportunity to learn directly from our employees. You’ll get hands-on experience and learn skills that will help prepare you for a full time career in digital marketing or political campaigns.

As a part of our team you would: 

• Put together rough cuts in Adobe After Effects

• Sourcing and organizing project assets, files and folders

• Working across multiple projects simultaneously

• Creating quality deliverables in a fast-paced work environment

• Communicating, collaborating, and brainstorming with the team

• Accepting constructive feedback and applying it to your work

• Bringing your ideas and creativity and sharing them

You’d be a great fit if you have:  

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro & Adobe After Effects 

• Interested in a career in video editing

• Passionate about electing Democratic candidates and pushing progressive causes.

• Excellent at media management 

• The ability to incorporate constructive criticism.

• Superior attention to detail and time management skills.

• An enthusiasm to learn about Blueprint’s work & clients.

Details: 

Interns should be available for an average of 20 to a maximum of 25 hours a week. Must be available for 3-5 hour long work periods the week, based upon the intern's schedule. The position pays $17.00/hour and runs for 12-14 weeks.

This internship has the ability to be fully remote but for applicants based in the DMV area, we have an optional 2 days per week hybrid schedule available. Schedules are flexible according to your availability and can be adjusted as needed.
