More Strange/Fun Things To Brighten Your Desk
We still haven't moved offices here at Blueprint, so it’s given me more time to think about my wish list for a more fun desk. I’m pretty girly, so I’ve been looking for things that are functional but also not hideous. Here are a few of some of my favorite desk things… maybe you’ll see a few on my desk in the coming weeks!
The Aphrodite USB Hub $9.99

I don’t know about you, but I’m often finding myself with a lack of available USB ports. Sometimes you have to charge your phone AND cool your beverage The Aphrodite USB hub does double duty, giving me the extra ports I need while freeing me up to charge everything I own while looking very classy in the process.
Oh and look at that. Today Fred Flare is offering free shipping no minimum purchase. You have to game the system a bit and order a full priced item to get the free shipping but who doesn’t need scented hand wipes for $4? Totally worth it be the new proud owner of this Mighty Aphrodite for $10. To join the cool kids USB hub club you can just use the code SHAPES when checking out.
Booksi iPhone Dock $52

Leaving your phone languishing haphazardly on a desk is so pedestrian. With the Booksi iPhone dock I can charge my phone in a dedicated place while feeling somewhat smart by having a real book on my desk. I like the Jane Austen Persuasion one below but there are a bunch of other books to tickle your literary fancies while charging your technological ones.
Cabledrop Cable Organizer $10

Cables drive me nuts. But they’re a necessary evil (for now). These cable organizers would keep all my wild chords tame and my OCD tendencies under control. Although, I’ve always wanted to try the even more affordable binder clip method as well.
Memo Mousepad $9
Even though we do everything online, in the cloud, etc. I still love paper products. It’s a little weird. But I have boxes of stationery and spend an embarrassing amount of money at the Paper Source. But I feel my bulk purchase of several of these memo mousepads is justified. They keep my mouse happy and I get to scribble notes when I have far too many windows open on my computer. It’s a win-win.
I'm sure when we get around to finally moving around I'll have more ideas of fun desk things. Until then - Happy Friday!
