A few weeks ago I started blogging about our process to make our company blog and website responsive. I'm happy to report that we are making steady progress. My marching order from our initial kickoff was to roughly mock up what the blog would look like at our smallest breakpoint, 320px wide, as a guide for our initial functional prototype. Capturing Iceland One Photo App at a Time

Segja ostur! That's "Say Cheese" in Icelandic - a phrase I never said on my recent trip because A) everyone in Iceland speaks English and B) Icelandic is REALLY HARD TO PRONOUNCE CORRECTLY.

But that didn't stop me from taking an inane amount of photos - and testing the creative boundaries of my iPhone when combined with the free wireless on the tour busses. So, while I'd spent $500 on a nice new camera, it turned out I could have gotten by with just these photo apps:

It's 6pm. On a Wednesday. You and some colleagues have decided to quench your parched throats and fill your empty bellies after an exhausting day of creating spreadsheets and watching Hulu on company time. To the local watering hole you embark, for the age-honored ritual known as the Happy Hour. The next couple of hours are spent ordering rounds of discounted beers, cocktails, wings, and burgers, except for Jenny in accounting, who had to get the fish sandwich because it was Ash Wednesday, and Chris in sales, who was trying to show off in front of that new intern by ordering Scotch (and then casually throwing out descriptions of its flavor every so often, just in case you cared). So, the evening draws to a close, and the sobering moment of truth arrives – the dreaded bar tab.
